Christina Drain began her birth work journey in 2015 after she had given birth to her 2nd child. She strongly believes that every person should birth their way and be supported by people who support their vision.  Christina has learned through her years of birthwork experience and leadership roles that the support of a doula goes beyond the client. Successful birthing experiences happen when the birth person, their families and their doula have the knowledge and support needed! Christina's goal is to ensure all everyone involved in the birth is knowledgeable about birth  and how to navigate the possibilities that come with it. Throughout her birth work journey Christina has trained and certified with Doulas of North America (DONA), Childbirth And Postpartum Professionals Association (CAPPA), Birth Advocacy Doula Training (BADT), Ann Harbor Breastfeeding Center, and Spinning Babies. She has over 15 years of  experience in community service work, has build a Doula program through a health department and sustained a team of full time birth work professionals. Christina also has a formal education in Legal Studies and Sociology, with a minor in Gender and Women's Studies. In her free time she enjoys crafting, traveling, and attending family events.
